THE PROBLEM

Your asphalt roof has a 15-year clock.

Front Range hail strips granules from asphalt within 8-12 years. Insurance keeps paying for replacements until they don't. Metal ends the cycle — Class 4 rated, decades of life, one install.

ASPHALT ROOFING
The 15-year cycle
Granules. Claims. Tear-off. Repeat.

15-25 year lifespan in Colorado, then full tear-off

Anatomy of a Metal Roof

Six layers. One system. Seventy years.

A standing seam metal roof isn't just panels — it's an engineered system. Skip a layer and you compromise performance and warranty.

OUR PROCESS

Quote to install in 2-4 weeks.

Metal roofing is a 50-year decision. We treat the planning the same way.

01

Site Assessment

We measure your roof, evaluate your decking, photograph the existing system, and discuss profile and color options. Drone survey for complex roofs.

02

Engineered Quote

Itemized written quote with profile, gauge, color, snow retention, underlayment spec, and a ballpark timeline. Honored for 90 days. We'll show comparable systems if helpful.

03

Material Order & Fabrication

Panels, trim, and flashing fabricated in our shop or rolled to length on-site. Custom drip edge, valleys, ridge cap, and snow rails to match your system.

04

Tear-Off & Install

Asphalt removed, decking inspected and patched, underlayment installed, panels set with concealed clips. Site cleaned daily. Final walk-through with you on-site.

FAQ

Questions before you replace asphalt with metal.

How long does a metal roof last in Colorado?
Most properly installed steel and aluminum systems last 40-70 years, depending on profile, finish, roof geometry, and exposure. In the Front Range, that often means one roof instead of multiple asphalt replacements.
Is metal roofing loud during rain or hail?
+
Not when installed as a complete residential roof system. Solid decking, underlayment, insulation, and attic space dampen sound significantly compared with exposed barn-style metal panels.
Will a metal roof help with hail insurance claims?
+
Class 4 impact-rated systems can reduce hail damage risk and may qualify for insurance discounts depending on your carrier. We provide the system documentation your insurer needs after installation.
What profiles do you install?
+
Standing seam, corrugated, ribbed agricultural panels, half-round specialty panels, and custom sheet metal details including valleys, flashing, fascia, trim, and snow retention.
Can you match gutters and trim to the roof color?
+
Yes. We can coordinate roof panels, gutters, fascia, drip edge, flashing, and specialty sheet metal in matching or complementary finishes for a unified exterior.
How soon can you quote my roof?
+
Most projects can be measured and quoted within a few business days. Complex rooflines, specialty profiles, or insurance documentation may take slightly longer.
